Antonio Capuano is an Italian economist, political scientist, lawyer and a former member of the Italian Parliament (2001-2006). Mr Capuano is an expert on the Middle East and is an advisor to governments and corporations, which included advising the Italian Prime Minister on issues regarding Kuwait and the Middle East (2009 – 2011). Mr Capuano was also a Professor of Legal and Jurisdictional Law at the University for Foreigners of Perugia (2010-2011), and currently teaches Islamic Law at the University of Rome Tor Vergata. Mr Capuano is a Member of the Scientific Committee of the Consortium Sanniotech, Chairman of the Nucleus for the Internationalization and Board Member of Klox Technologies, as well as being involved in other international companies. He is the author of various publications, including: Atlas of the Arab Spring (Gangemi Editore) and Electoral Laws: A Defect of Democracy ( Gangemi Editore, July 2010). Mr Capuano has an MBA from the Trieste School of Management with a field research program in China, USA, Russia, UK and Spain. Mr Capuano was also the recipient of the 2002 “Roberto Marrama Award”, for the best young business talent.
