Creating a new video on demand strategy: Canal+ YOMVI
Gold Mercury set out to assist Canal+ in redefining the PAY TV category and the future of television entertainment. We developed a new strategic vision for CANAL+, redefining the PAY TV value chain and setting future strategic goals in content strategy, Video-On-Demand and broadband integration strategy. This included increasing the personalisation of the user experience by developing Canal+ into a 360º entertainment system that would deliver all entertainment needs for its users.
Our project culminated in the development and launch of a new Video-On-Demand strategy and brand for Canal+ that would establish it as a fully digital entertainment brand.
The strategy we developed aimed at leveraging the value of premium content for their customers and increasing the penetration of the iPlus decoder amongst its client base.
CANAL + Yomvi allows subscribers and non-subscribers to access and enjoy Canal+ content on all devices including PC’s, iPads, iPhones, connected TVs and game consoles.
