Step 1: Candidate Nomination

The first step of our nomination and selection process is undertaken by the Gold Mercury Award Nomination Committee. The Nomination Committee is comprised of highly distinguished experts and leaders in each of our award category areas. They come from professional backgrounds such as academia, government, corporate boards, and civil society. Nomination Committee members are divided into category sub-committees according to their field of experience. In the first step of the nomination and selection process, committee members individually nominate a candidate in their designated award category.

Step 2: Candidate Screening

In step 2 of the award nomination and selection process, Gold Mercury International compiles a list of nominees in each award category, internally evaluates the nominations, and writes a recommendation report for the Gold Mercury International Advisory Board.

Step 3: Selection of Winners

In the third step, the International Advisory Board reviews the recommendation report and confirms the winners in each category.

Step 4: Winners Announced

Finally, Gold Mercury International announces the winners at a chosen date.
